The TDCJ Pam Lychner State Jail in Humble Texas was the scene for the recent graduation of 18 men who completed the Consumer Credit Seminar!

Participants were exposed to 8-hours of instruction on the basic elements of understanding and managing consumer credit, the credit score, accessing your free annual credit reports, and identity theft - account fraud - scams and schemes. Free literature was provided to all compliments of Capital One/Consumer Action and the Federal Trade Commission.

Special thanks to Capital One Community Banking for their partnership and support of the promotion of financial literacy to those who are disconnected and marginalized from the financial mainstream.
